Then, Rory Stewart, former U.K. Secretary of State for International Development, and Andrey Kortunov, the Director General for the Russian International Affairs Council, join Jim for a discussion about how America’s allies and adversaries are reacting to the Afghanistan debacle. Also, former U.K. Foreign Secretary David Miliband explains to Jim how the Taliban takeover created not just a political-economic crisis but a humanitarian one as well.  Plus, a conversation with Laurie Santos, Professor of Psychology at Yale University and host of The Happiness Lab podcast, about how to train our brains to find happiness amidst these very challenging times.
