In 2023, Hackney Diamonds marked an incredible comeback for The Rolling Stones.  It was their first record of original music in 18 years – and the first without their legendary drummer, Charlie Watts.

Nobody saw it coming, but Hackney Diamonds topped the charts, won rave reviews, and spawned a tour that grossed over $230 million.

They could have bowed out then – but the people wanted more. Turns out, so did The Stones. Foreign Tongues is what came next.

This is the story of a band at the beginning of a renaissance – a tale that takes in loss, lunch, and legacy.
