On todays call we couldn’t go without talking about our former occupation..The radio BUSINESS and how it is treating our friends… Marks former station now has 1 employee, when he retired it had 4 which was sad enough. Back when they started one station would have at least 15. Mark’s intern from the 90s is now an OM for 3 different radio markets and lives hours away from most of them.. Local is what it should be but only the non corporatate owners get it. DJs were never a number on a budget spread sheet they were numbers on a ratings report card that made you money or asked you to leave… sorry for the editorial… We also talk space, the moon, coffee, soul food, nude dining, and a quiz about the state your state hates.
