According to DoorDash data from October 2023, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups were the most popular Halloween candy, topping the list in 24 states. Surprisingly, Gushers came in second place.

Here is a list of the top ten most popular Halloween candies nationwide:

While variety packs featuring Snickers, Twix, and M&M’s were popular in five states, three states showed unique preferences.

These were:

●Louisiana: Airheads Mini Candy
●New Mexico: Laffy Taffy Cherry Candy

Interestingly, Vermont purchased the most candy leading up to Halloween, followed by South Dakota and Nebraska.
