2019’s “Shazam” is 2nd only to “Wonder Woman” in popularity among DCEU critics & fans alike. It made a respectable 363 million dollars at the box office and earned itself a sequel in 2023. But imagine how much better it might have done if The Rock had made his debut as “BLACK ADAM” in the film, as was originally planned. Imagine how much better “Black Adam” might have done with a badass cameo debut a few years earlier. How much better a Shazam 2 would have done if it was the first real face-off between Shazam & Black Adam? Imagine how much more exciting and anticipated a fight between Black Adam and Superman would BE, if it was properly built up over time, like starting with a proper introduction of “Black Adam” in the “SHAZAM” film as THAT is the character who fans & audiences MOST ASSOCIATE with each other. And why, oh, why, would Dwayne Johnson force such a destructive choice upon the DCEU? The Coolest Geek Alive thinks he knows!
